Denise Bell, MD, FAAP,  joined Advocare Cornerstone Pediatrics in 2020 with more than 15 years of experience as a primary care pediatrician in South Jersey. After graduating summa cum laude from Drew University with a degree in Spanish Langauge and Culture, Dr. Bell earned her medical degree from Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School. She completed her pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2004 and is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Bell served as the Chair of Pediatrics from 2008-2018 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, where she helped to build the innovative Pediatric Pavillion. Since 2018, she has held the officeof Secretary-Treasurer of the Medical Staff at Virtua Memorial. Dr. Bell is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and has been elected to leadership roles in the AAP at the state and national level. She has been named Top Doc for Kid by SJ Magazine and has received numerous professional awards. Her special interests include autism, immunizations, pediatric telemedicine and the primary care of children with medical complexity. She has been invited to speak about these topics at local and national meetings. Dr. Bell lives in Cherry Hill with her husband and their two children. She enjoys reading, cycling, crafts, volunteering for her children's school and sports teams and spending time with her family. Dr. Bell considers it her greatest honor that so many families have trusted her as their pediatrician.
